Key Responsibilities

• Tax Advisory & Compliance: Lead tax compliance engagements, tax planning strategies, and complex advisory services for diverse corporate clients.
• TRA Audit Management: Represent clients during Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) audits, health checks, objections, and dispute resolutions.
• Regulatory Monitoring: Ensure client operations remain fully aligned with updating Tanzanian tax legislation and statutory codes.
• Client & Team Leadership: Manage client relationships, review work performed by tax associates, and deliver concise technical tax reports.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.
• Professional Qualification: Must hold CPA (T), ACCA, or an equivalent recognized professional credential.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience working within a reputable Tax Consulting, Tax Advisory, or Audit Firm.
• Technical Expertise: In-depth, practical knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws, statutory filing systems, and TRA audit procedures.
• Core Skills: Analytical thinking, negotiation skills, client relationship management, and excellent written/verbal communication.
