ACCOUNTANT (CPA)

We are looking for a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and results-driven Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic finance team.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Accountant (CPA) will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) - Mandatory.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and statutory requirements in Tanzania.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid driving license will be an added advantage.
• A VALID DRIVING LICENSE WILL BE AN ADDED ADVANTAGE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Ensure timely tax compliance and statutory submissions (VAT, PAYE, WHT, CIT, etc.).
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure cash flow accuracy.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis reports.
• Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Provide financial advice and support strategic planning initiatives.
