About the Program:

Wings for Confident Women (WCW) is an EdPowerment initiative dedicated to improving menstrual health and empowering girls and women through the production and sale of affordable, reusable sanitary pads. The program combines health education, economic empowerment, and community engagement to create lasting impact.

Position Summary:

EdPowerment is seeking a motivated and results-driven WCW Sales Manager to lead the promotion, sales, and awareness of reusable sanitary pads. The Sales Manager will work closely with communities, schools, health centers, NGOs, and apprentices to expand product reach while promoting menstrual health education and sustainable business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to promote and sell reusable sanitary pads in communities, schools, health centers, and public events.
  • Sell WCW reusable sanitary pads to NGOs and organizations that serve female students and community members.
  • Design and coordinate community events and outreach activities to raise awareness about reusable sanitary pads and menstrual health.
  • Communicate with and promote EdPowerment’s products to partner organizations involved in female health and reusable pad initiatives.
  • Support and mentor apprentices in marketing skills and small business practices related to sanitary pad sales.
  • Maintain accurate sales, production, materials, and distribution records.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales plans, targets, and strategies.
  • Educate customers and partners on menstrual hygiene management and proper use of reusable sanitary pads.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Community Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach (experience with NGOs or health-related products is an advantage).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Passion for women’s health, community empowerment, and social impact.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
