Organization Background

Our NGO is legally registered in Tanzania, with its office located in Moshi. We focus on educational initiatives aimed at empowering adolescents and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our activities include:

  • Providing scholarships to motivated individuals lacking the necessary resources to pursue relevant studies.
  • Contributing to the alleviation of extreme poverty by supporting education and self-employment initiatives.

Job Summary

The WCW Program Manager will lead the implementation and management of the program, which trains girls in the community on making reusable feminine pads and developing sewing skills. These skills enable apprentices to become self-employed in the future. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, demonstrate strong leadership skills, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the production of reusable sanitary pads.
  • Supervise and support the training provided to WCW apprentices.
  • Organize and conduct school outreach activities to raise awareness on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM).
  • Prepare and submit quarterly and annual program reports.
  • Market reusable sanitary pads to various outlets.
  • Assist in preparing grant proposals and related funding requests.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management, production, or related areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Female candidates will be given priority.
