Job Description

To undertake welding works on the pipeline and associated installations within Tanzania Region in order to facilitate efficient transportation of the finished product.

Key Responsibilities

• Corrective Maintenance: Undertakes timely, welding works during the repair of pipeline leaks in order to secure the product.
• Pipeline Inspections: Undertakes effectively, the periodic inspections and maintenance of the pipeline and accessory equipment in order to facilitate maintenance works and ensure their working order.
• Equipment Maintenance: Undertakes effectively maintenance of welding equipment and machinery in order to ensure their working condition.
• Tools and Materials custody: Maintains effectively the safe keeping of spares and tools for the section in order to prevent loss and damages.
• Records Keeping: Undertakes timely, the compilation and storage of maintenance documentation in order to facilitate accountability.
• Housekeeping: Undertakes regularly, cleaning and maintenance of the work sites in order to eliminate hazards and ensure safety of staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Form IV Certificate
• Craft Certificate in welding and metal fabrication

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to write reports
• Manual dexterity
• Team Working Skills
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written in English and Swahili

Minimum Experience Required

• Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
