Responsibilities

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate and repair metal parts, structures, and machinery components
  • Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc, etc.) to join or build metal assemblies with clean, strong welds
  • Cut, shape, and prepare metal using grinders, torches, and other tools
  • Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity; test output to ensure it meets specifications
  • Maintain welding equipment and work area safety; support factory repairs and custom fabrication needs

Requirements

  • Vocational certificate or trade qualification in welding/fabrication
  • 2–5+ years of experience in industrial welding, preferably in manufacturing or heavy equipment
  • Proficiency in multiple welding processes and the ability to read technical drawings
  • Attention to detail, steady hand, and commitment to safety standards
  • Basic English skills preferred; physically fit for standing, lifting, and working in factory conditions
