About the Role:
The primary role of the Weighbridge Administrator is to ensure accurate weighing, recording and documentation of all incoming raw material trucks and outgoing finished feed trucks, protecting stock accuracy, ticket integrity and loss prevention in a continuous 24/7 feed mill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the weighbridge accurately and record gross and tare weights for incoming and outgoing trucks.
- Issue, match, file and enter weigh tickets and related delivery/loading documentation.
- Verify vehicle, product and driver details and prevent unauthorised movements bypassing the weighbridge.
- Complete shift handovers and record pending trucks, open tickets, system/equipment issues and queries.
- Support raw material reception, safe offloading and finished-feed loading while coordinating with stores and logistics.
- Monitor and report stock variances and maintain compliance with HACCP, GMP, HSE and site procedures.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Form IV or equivalent secondary education minimum; a Certificate/Diploma in Logistics, Accounting or a related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in weighbridge operations, stock control, receiving or dispatch.
- At least 1 year in a shift-based industrial or warehouse environment involving truck weighing/documentation.
- Hands-on weighbridge, ticket-printing, truck-documentation and basic computer/system-entry experience.
- Strong accuracy, integrity, problem-solving and communication skills; English proficiency required.
- Experience with weighbridge systems is highly valued.
