Jungle Pearl Resort is a unique hotel located in the heart of Mto wa Mbu town, proud to offer the best accommodation services and authentic Swahili and international cuisine. We are looking for a cheerful, disciplined and customer-oriented Waiter/Waitress to join our service team.

Job Responsibilities

Customer Service: Welcoming customers with a friendly manner, providing them with menus, and helping to explain the food and drinks available.

Order Taking: Taking food and drink orders accurately and delivering them to the kitchen or bar promptly.

Table Cleaning: Setting tables and ensuring the dining area and bar are clean at all times.

Beverage Service: Preparing and serving cold and hot beverages (tea/coffee) according to customer needs.

Payment: Assisting customers in the payment process and ensuring they receive their receipt.

Collaboration: Working closely with chefs and managers to ensure customers receive quality service without delay.

Qualifications and Criteria

Education/Experience: At least one (1) year of experience in hospitality work in a recognized hotel or restaurant.

Language: Ability to speak Kiswahili and English fluently to communicate with local and international guests.

Appearance: Must be clean, neat, and have an attractive personality when serving guests.

Personality: Highly disciplined, honest, and able to work under pressure (during peak season).

Additional Skills: Knowledge of using point of sale (POS) machines will be an added advantage.
