Responsibilities or duties,
- Teach veterinary science courses through lectures, tutorials, demonstrations, and practical sessions.
- Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, teaching materials, and assessment tools.
- Conduct laboratory and field practical training for students.
- Evaluate students through assignments, tests, practical examinations, and other assessment methods.
- Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and academic performance.
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
- Participate in curriculum development and review activities.
- Supervise students during fieldwork, clinical practice, and research projects.
- Participate in departmental meetings and academic activities.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or College Management.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),
- Holder of a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine (BVM) from a recognized institution.
- Demonstrated knowledge of veterinary sciences and animal health management.
- Good communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
