JOB DETAILS:

Padre Pio College of Health and Allied Sciences is seeking to fill the position of Veterinary Medicine Officer. This role is crucial for maintaining animal health and public safety.

Responsibilities or duties

The Veterinary Medicine Officer will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases in animals, ensuring animal welfare, and safeguarding public health through food safety measures.

Qualifications or requirements 

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and be registered/licensed with the National Veterinary Council. Strong clinical and surgical skills, decision-making under pressure, compassion for animals and empathy for owners, and physical stamina and manual dexterity are essential.

Experience needed

A minimum of 2 years of clinical veterinary experience is required.
