JOB DETAILS:

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading and managing the general insurance underwriting function to ensure sound risk selection, profitable portfolio growth, policy compliance, and delivery of quality underwriting services.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management, Actuarial Science or other related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in the same role.
• Certification in Insurance.
• Reinsurance or underwriting certifications.
• Actuarial exposure (added advantage).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and management skills.
• Strong technical knowledge of the insurance sector.
• Reinsurance or underwriting certifications.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: bachelor degree
