TRUCK DRIVER

Job Summary

The Truck Driver will safely operate project trucks to transport construction materials, equipment, and other assigned loads to and from designated locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned trucks safely and responsibly.
• Transport materials, equipment, and other project loads as instructed.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report mechanical defects.
• Ensure loads are properly secured before transportation.
• Follow designated routes and site traffic regulations.
• Maintain accurate vehicle and trip records.
• Carry out basic checks and routine vehicle maintenance.
• Observe all road-safety and site-safety requirements.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, or other incidents immediately.
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition.

Requirements

• VETA Certificate or relevant technical qualification.
• Valid driving licence with the required Class E qualification.
• Relevant driving experience is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of road and workplace safety procedures.
• Responsible, reliable, and physically fit.
• Ability to work in a project/construction environment.
