Kilimo Trust Tanzania is seeking a qualified Training Consultant or consulting firm to design and facilitate a one-day Staff Forum aimed at strengthening internal collaboration, communication, trust, and organizational effectiveness. The assignment focuses on enhancing teamwork, identifying operational challenges, improving management efficiency, and promoting effective cross-country coordination to support the organization’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities or duties

  • Review the current team dynamics and organizational context.
  • Assess existing collaboration and operational challenges within the organization.
  • Identify training, communication, and coordination gaps.
  • Develop a participatory, practical, and interactive one-day training agenda.
  • Ensure training content aligns with Kilimo Trust Tanzania’s operational realities and organizational goals.
  • Design engaging learning activities, facilitation tools, and team-building exercises.
  • Lead and facilitate the full-day Staff Forum scheduled for 10 July 2026.
  • Facilitate sessions on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Facilitate sessions on communication effectiveness and workplace relationships.
  • Facilitate discussions on management efficiency and organizational performance.
  • Lead activities that strengthen cross-country coordination and collaboration.
  • Encourage open dialogue, active participation, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Provide practical tools, exercises, and facilitation materials to participants.
  • Document key discussions, observations, and lessons learned during the forum.
  • Prepare and submit a comprehensive post-event report.
  • Summarize key insights, observations, and outcomes from the forum.
  • Identify organizational challenges and areas for improvement.
  • Provide practical recommendations and proposed follow-up actions.

Qualifications or requirements 

  • Proven experience in team-building, organizational development, and leadership facilitation.
  • Demonstrated experience working with NGOs, development organizations, or regional and multi-country institutions.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to design engaging, participatory, and results-oriented learning sessions.
  • Strong understanding of organizational development principles and team dynamics.
  • Experience conducting staff retreats, workshops, or organizational effectiveness forums.
  • Ability to facilitate discussions that promote collaboration, trust, and problem-solving.
  • Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to deliver practical recommendations that support organizational improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage diverse participants effectively.

Any other provided details 

  • The assignment will be conducted on a consultancy basis.
  • The successful consultant or firm will be responsible for designing and facilitating the entire Staff Forum.
  • The Staff Forum is scheduled to take place on 10 July 2026.
  • Applicants must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and high-quality facilitation expertise.
