Job Purpose
To provide technical and operational support within the theatre environment to ensure safe, efficient, and effective surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating theatres before surgical procedures.
- Ensure availability, functionality, and sterility of theatre equipment and instruments.
- Assist surgical teams during procedures as required.
- Maintain theatre equipment and report faults promptly.
- Support infection prevention and sterilization procedures.
- Manage surgical supplies and equipment inventory.
- Ensure compliance with theatre safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate theatre records and documentation.

- Knowledge of theatre procedures and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

- Commitment to patient safety and infection control.
Qualifications
- Diploma or relevant qualification in Theatre Technology or a related healthcare field.
- Relevant professional registration where applicable.
- Certificate of Good Conduct.
- Previous theatre experience is an added advantage.
