Position: Temporary Data Entry Clerk | Temporary
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and organized Temporary Data Entry Clerk to support daily business operations for a period of one month. The ideal candidate must know how to use a computer, type fast, and accurately record business information including sales, expenses, customer details, and product information. The role also includes taking clear photos of products for records, marketing, and inventory purposes.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry and Records Management
- Enter daily sales, expenses, customer information, and product details into the system or spreadsheet.
- Ensure all records are accurate, complete, and updated on time.
- Maintain proper filing of receipts, invoices, and business documents.
- Update product and inventory records regularly.
Product Photography
- Take clear and presentable photos of products using a phone or camera.
- Organize product photos properly for easy access.
- Ensure product images are ready for posting on WhatsApp, Instagram, or other sales platforms.
Customer Records
- Record customer purchases, inquiries, and payments.
- Maintain a customer database with names, contacts, and purchase history where needed.
- Assist in following up with customers when required.
Expense Tracking
- Record daily business expenses accurately.
- Keep receipts and supporting documents properly filed.
- Prepare simple daily, weekly, or monthly summaries of expenses and sales when requested.
General Shop and Administrative Support
- Assist with basic administrative and shop duties.
- Support in organizing products, checking stock, and maintaining order.
- Perform any other related duties assigned by management.
Knowledge and Experience
- Must know how to use a computer.
- Must be able to type fast and accurately.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
- Must be able to use a smartphone to take clear product photos.
- Basic knowledge of WhatsApp Business or social media is an added advantage.
- Previous experience in data entry, retail, sales records, or administration is an added advantage.
- Must complete all the data entry within a month

- Fast and accurate typing skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Organized and able to keep proper records.
- Good communication skills.
