JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose:

To perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, primarily mechanical with basic electrical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults (bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Assist electricians with basic electrical tasks (sensor replacement, motor connections, checking fuses).
• Perform routine inspections, lubrication, alignment, and vibration analysis.
• Use CMMS to log work orders, labor hours, and parts usage.
• Participate in root cause analysis of breakdowns.
• Fabricate small components using lathe, mill, or welder as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety around machinery.
• Respond to breakdown calls promptly.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting & Turning, or Mechatronics.
• Basic electrical safety certification (e.g., safe isolation, LOTO awareness).

Experience:

• 2–4 years in industrial mechanical maintenance (conveyors, pumps, presses, packaging lines, crushers, etc.).

Competencies:

• Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
