JOB DETAILS:

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher in classroom management and lesson delivery.
• Work with small groups or individual students needing extra help (literacy, numeracy).
• Assist in preparing learning materials, displays, and activity stations.
• Supervise students during breaks, transitions, and on field trips.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Monitor and record student behaviors and basic progress markers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum High School Diploma/Certificate; CACHE, NVQ Level 2/3 in Teaching Assistance preferred.
• Experience working with young children (volunteering or paid).
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

• Patience, warmth, and empathy.
• Good observation and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively.
