INFRASTRUCTURE

The role of a Surveyor is crucial in infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to plans. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in the field and with data.

Responsibilities

The Surveyor will be responsible for a range of duties including:

  • Conducting physical site surveys using a variety of Survey equipment & tools.
  • Handling of Total Station, GPS & other modern survey equipment.
  • Examining previous records & evidence to ensure data accuracy.
  • Calculating heights, depths, relative positions, boundary lines & other characteristics of terrain at site.
  • Performing mathematical calculations to determine & confirm surveying measurements.
  • Supervising & providing guidance to field staff.
  • Maintaining Survey Equipment in good condition.
  • Managing the site challenges on time.
  • Understanding & meeting all contract requirements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Surveying/ Geomatics/Special Course for Surveyor.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in similar profile.
  • D.C.E/ Surveying/ Geomatics/Special Course for Surveyor
  • Excellent knowledge of design & visualizations software such as Auto CAD, Civil 3D or similar.
  • Strong commercial & analytical aptitude with a practical, logical & methodical approach to work.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to focus under pressure & meet deadlines.
