Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Surgeon to perform a wide range of surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in general surgery and possess a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Expertise in Oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGD) and other specialized surgical skills will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform elective and emergency surgical operations with a high degree of skill and safety.
  • Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and provide post-operative care and management.
  • Utilize diagnostic procedures such as Oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGD).
  • Lead and manage the surgical team in the operating theater.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all surgical patients.
  • Participate in clinical audits, morbidity and mortality meetings, and continuous medical education.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Anesthesia, Nursing, ICU) to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, medical protocols, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master of Medicine (Surgery) or equivalent recognized specialist qualification in Surgery.
  • Full registration with the relevant medical and dental council and a valid practicing license.
  • Proven experience as a qualified Surgeon.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated proficiency in Oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGD) and other advanced endoscopic or laparoscopic skills.
