Job Summary
The Store Keeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory while ensuring proper stock control and accurate record keeping to support efficient warehouse operations.Corporate Training
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Store goods safely and systematically within the warehouse.
- Issue materials according to approved requisitions.
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure proper labeling and organization of all stored items.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness in the store.
- Prepare inventory and stock movement reports as required.
- Perform any other storekeeping duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- At least one (1) year of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of inventory control procedures and stock management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
