Job Summary
The Stock Control Officer will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, monitoring stock movements, and ensuring efficient stock control processes across the organization. The role requires close coordination with the Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for all products and spare parts.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock in accordance with company procedures.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouses and branches as required.
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend timely replenishment of stock.
- Prepare inventory reports and analyze stock movement trends.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of inventory.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Warehouse, Sales, and Finance departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory control policies and procedures.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or any other related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant work experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related role.
