About the Role

The Social Worker will provide case management, psychosocial support, protection services, and referrals to vulnerable individuals and families. The role focuses on child protection, gender-based violence response, family strengthening, and linking clients to essential services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments, home visits, and vulnerability assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized case management plans.
• Provide psychosocial support, counseling, and crisis intervention.
• Identify and respond to child protection concerns, including abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
• Support survivors of gender-based violence with safety planning and referrals.
• Coordinate with health, legal, education, and protection services for holistic support.
• Maintain confidential, accurate, and up-to-date case files and databases.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to services.
• Facilitate community awareness on child protection, GBV, and available services.
• Train community volunteers, foster caregivers, and partner staff on protection principles.
• Conduct follow-up visits and monitor case outcomes.
• Adhere to safeguarding, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
• Participate in case conferences, supervision, and interagency coordination meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Community Development, or related field.
• [2–4]+ years of case management or social work experience.
• Registration with a recognized social work council is preferred.
• Experience in child protection, GBV, or humanitarian settings is highly desirable.
• Training in case management, PFA, or safeguarding is an advantage.
