JOB DETAILS:
Duties and Responsibilities
• Driving patrol boat;
• Design, manufacture and maintenance of fishing gear (Fishing Gears);
• Direct and operate small boats / ships with a length of 40 feet and a registered weight of 50 - 100 tons "Gross Tonnage (GRT)";
• Conducting fishing activities on ships;
• Participate in conducting maritime and land patrols, and EEZ patrols;
• Read VMS reports and submit them to the Head of the facility daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually;
• Arresting Fisheries Law and Criminal Law;
• Helping to keep all records of fuel consumption in patrol containers;
• Help prepare to schedule maintenance and service of all patrol equipment (service schedule);
• From the duties of the force as set out in Section 32 of the Fisheries Act and. 22 of 2003; and
• To perform other duties of his / her profession shall be assigned by the superintendent.

Qualification and Experience
• Recruitment of Form IV or VI graduates with Diploma in Diploma in Fisheries and Fisheries (Master Fisherman) from the Fisheries Education and Training Agency (FETA) or similar qualification from other colleges recognized by the Government.
