JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:

The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or mechanical equipment to ensure safety and reliability. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic software and manual tools.
• Execute repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension, and braking systems.
• Test vehicles to ensure performance meets factory specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Document all work performed and parts used on service reports.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a trade school or apprenticeship program preferred.
• Proven experience as a technician or mechanic.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: associate degree
