As part of its strategic growth in corporate and wholesale banking, ACB is seeking to recruit a highly experienced professional for the position of Senior Manager, Corporate Banking based in Dar es Salaam.

The Senior Manager, Corporate Banking will report to the Chief Commercial Banking Officer and will be responsible for driving growth, managing, and expanding the corporate credit and liabilities portfolio. The role focuses on business development, client relationship management, revenue growth, and delivering high-quality corporate banking services.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieving business targets related to assets, liabilities, revenue generation, cost efficiency, and customer acquisition within the corporate banking segment.
  • Marketing and strengthening the ACB brand to enhance competitiveness in the corporate banking market.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities and expanding the corporate customer base.
  • Ensuring sustainable, profitable, and high-quality growth within the corporate banking portfolio.
  • Developing and executing market strategies and tactical business plans for wholesale banking operations.
  • Cross-selling the bank’s products and services to corporate clients to maximize revenue generation.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients to support acquisition, retention, and income growth.
  • Providing superior customer service, onboarding experience, and advisory services to corporate clients.
  • Managing key client relationships through regular engagement, visits, and structured call programs.
  • Acting as the primary relationship manager for high-net-worth corporate clients.
  • Supporting product development by identifying client needs and market opportunities.
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualification and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Proven experience in Corporate Banking or a related financial services environment.
  • Strong credit analysis, documentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience in structured trade finance, syndications, and project financing.
  • Strong understanding of corporate banking products and services.
  • Demonstrated ability in sales and business development within corporate banking.
  • Ability to assess client needs and develop tailored financial solutions.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
