- Monitor and report on capital project performance against budget and schedule; highlight variances and support corrective actions.
- Maintain an up-to-date capital register and ensure correct classification, tracking and reporting of CAPEX.
- Support feasibility studies, optimization studies and technical-economic evaluations.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to Group accounting policies, IFRS and Tanzanian statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation, analyses and reconciliations.
- Maintain robust internal controls over management accounting, cost allocations, stock, fixed assets and project accounting.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities; recommend mitigation strategies.
- Support tax and royalty calculations and reconciliations as required, in coordination with Tax specialists and external advisors.
Inventory, Stock & Working Capital Management
- Oversee costing of inventories (spares, consumables, fuel, explosives, ore stockpiles, gold in circuit and finished metal).
