About SBC Tanzania Limited
SBC Tanzania Limited is a leading beverage company engaged in the manufacturing, distribution, and sales of PepsiCo brands across Tanzania. The company is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer to join its team at the Mbeya Plant.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance
- Create, plan, and implement planned preventive maintenance programmes.
- Review plant and machinery systems to ensure reliable and efficient operations.
Minimise Downtime
- Proactively identify and implement solutions to maintenance issues.
- Work closely with the Production team to ensure repairs cause minimal disruption to operations.
Spare Parts Control
- Manage the storage and ordering of spare parts.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and report any discrepancies.
Safety and Team Training
- Maintain safe systems of work.
- Ensure proper housekeeping within the engineering and maintenance areas.
- Organise and facilitate training for engineering staff.
Entry Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
At least 6 years of experience in a related field.
Key Skills
Candidates should have the following skills and competencies:
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Predictive maintenance knowledge.
- Strong understanding of safety and compliance.
- Training and supervision skills.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 72
Level of Education: bachelor degree
