POSITION: Senior Accountant / Finance Controller

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Take full ownership and accountability of all financial and accounting operations within the organization
• Prepare and present highly accurate, detailed, and audit-ready financial statements in strict compliance with IFRS
• Perform advanced financial analysis, modeling, and complex mathematical calculations to support strategic business decisions
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes with a high level of precision and data integrity
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and cost structures, ensuring optimal financial efficiency
• Develop, implement, and continuously strengthen internal controls, financial systems, and reporting frameworks
• Identify financial risks, discrepancies, and inefficiencies through deep analytical review and numerical evaluation
• Oversee and lead internal and external audit processes, ensuring zero errors and full transparency
• Drive cost optimization and profitability analysis through data-driven insights
• Provide strategic financial guidance and recommendations to senior management
• Establish and enforce strict financial discipline, accuracy, and accountability standards across all operations
• Supervise and ensuring high performance and attention to detail

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage)
• CPA (fully qualified) is mandatory
• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior finance or financial control role
• Proven expertise in financial control, financial reporting, and advanced financial analysis
• Strong mastery of IFRS, taxation, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Exceptional mathematical, numerical, and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex financial data with precision
• Demonstrated ability in financial modeling, forecasting, and data interpretation
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Excel (financial modeling, formulas, and data analysis tools)
• Proven track record of maintaining accuracy under pressure and meeting strict deadlines
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision
• Experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments is highly preferred
• Must be highly disciplined, detail-oriented
