Position Overview

Josam Estates Company Limited invites applications from qualified and dependable individuals for the position of Security Guard (Mlinzi). The role involves maintaining physical security, safeguarding assets, and ensuring a safe environment across company properties through attentive monitoring and shift-based patrols.

Key Responsibilities

• Property Protection: Secure premises, physical infrastructure, personnel, and visitors by maintaining a vigilant presence.
• Access Control: Monitor entry and exit points for vehicles, employees, and visitors across property sites.
• Patrol Duties: Conduct regular security checks and patrols across assigned zones during shift hours.
• Incident Reporting: Identify, report, and manage unusual activities, security breaches, or potential hazards promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Minimum of Primary Education completion (Standard Seven / Darasa la Saba).
• Experience: Prior experience in security operations; previous work with private security companies is an added advantage.
• Age Limit: Between 25 and 45 years of age.
• Identification: Must possess a valid NIDA ID or NIDA Number.
• Physical Health: Excellent physical fitness and capability to work effectively in varied environmental conditions.
• Core Competencies: High level of integrity, strong discipline, alertness, and willingness to work flexible day and night shifts.
