JOB DETAILS:
- Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Head Butcher to manage the meat processing section. You will be responsible for butchering, cutting, and preparing all meat products to specification.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the butchery section, including meat preparation and portion control.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of meat products to maintain freshness.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in the butchery area.
- Control waste and optimize meat yields.
- Train and supervise butchery staff.
- Qualifications:
- Extensive butchery experience, preferably in a hotel or high-volume restaurant.
- A certificate or higher in Hotel Management or a related field is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of different meat cuts and cooking methods.
