JOB DETAILS:
- Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented Cold Kitchen Specialist (Garde Manger) to oversee the preparation of cold foods. This includes salads, cold appetizers, pâtés, and decorative food displays.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present all cold food items, including salads, cold meats, and appetizers.
- Create and maintain attractive buffet displays and food platters.
- Ensure all cold preparations are fresh and stored at correct temperatures.
- Assist in menu planning for the cold kitchen section.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Qualifications:
- Experience in a Garde Manger or cold kitchen role.
- A certificate or higher in Hotel Management or a related field is an added advantage.
- Strong artistic skills for food presentation.
