Job Summary
The Primary Science Teacher will inspire curiosity and scientific thinking by delivering engaging lessons that encourage learners to explore, investigate, experiment, and understand the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons appropriate for primary learners.
- Conduct practical experiments and inquiry-based learning activities.
- Develop learners' observation, research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Assess learner understanding and monitor academic progress.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet different learning needs.
- Maintain accurate assessment and learner performance records.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Participate in co-curricular and school-wide activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Education, Science Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Science at primary level.
- Previous experience with the British or American curriculum is required.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
