Role Overview

Sinoray is seeking a motivated and energetic Sales and Telemarketing Officer to join our team in the busy commercial hub of Kariakoo. This role combines face-to-face sales interactions with proactive phone-based outreach to grow our customer base and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Identify and contact potential customers through cold calling and digital leads to introduce Sinoray’s products.
  • Sales Conversion: Handle customer inquiries, provide product information, and close sales deals to meet monthly targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Follow up with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Market Feedback: Report on customer preferences and market trends observed in the Kariakoo area to the management team.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain an accurate log of all calls made, sales achieved, and customer contact details.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Must hold at least a Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swahili and English.
  • Persuasion: Proven ability to be persuasive and handle customer objections professionally.
  • Tech Savvy: Basic proficiency in using smartphones, social media for business, and Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Kariakoo market environment is a significant advantage
