About the Role
As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, growing existing customer accounts, and driving sales within one or more of AtoZ Group’s business divisions, including:
- Garments & Textiles
- SafePad® Hygiene Products
- Polyfoam Plastics & Packaging
- Flexible Packaging
- WPP Bags & Industrial Packaging
- Agricultural Packaging Solutions
You will play a key role in expanding our market presence across Tanzania and regional export markets while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers and key accounts.
- Conduct regular customer visits and market research.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines.
- Follow up on inquiries, orders, deliveries, and customer payments.
- Coordinate with production, planning, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate CRM and sales reports.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer trends.
- Represent AtoZ Group at exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer events.
- Promote new products and identify opportunities for cross-selling across the Group’s product portfolio.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within manufacturing, industrial products, FMCG, packaging, plastics, textiles, or medical products.
- Strong business development and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Strong organizational and reporting skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English is required; Kiswahili is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for customer visits.
