Selous Kinga Lodge is a premium safari lodge located in the breathtaking Selous National Park, offering an exclusive experience for nature lovers and adventure seekers. We provide world-class hospitality, luxurious accommodation, and thrilling safari experiences in one of Africa’s most renowned wildlife destinations.
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sales Officer to lead our sales efforts, attract new guests, and grow the lodge’s market presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building relationships with travel agencies, and increasing bookings for both local and international tourists.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase bookings and customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators , and corporate clients.
- Identify new sales channels and opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Monitor market trends and competitors, adjusting strategies as needed to stay competitive.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with campaigns.
- Lead sales presentations, attend industry events, and represent our Lodges professionally.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, reporting on progress and key metrics.
- Respond to guest inquiries and reviews promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to marketing reporting and insights analysis.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in hospitality or tourism sales (compulsory)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and drive sales targets
- Knowledge of safari lodges, tourism trends, and the luxury travel market is an added advantage.
