Our client is a leading beverage manufacturing company producing bottled drinking water, carbonated soft drinks, energy drinks, and fruit juices for the Tanzanian market. They are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead the sales function, drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen the company’s distribution network while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and sustainable business growth.

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to deliver outstanding performance.
• Manage and expand relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, and key accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop market expansion strategies across Tanzania.
• Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic performance reports.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and product launches.
• Ensure effective distribution and product availability across all sales channels.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage key customer relationships.
• Monitor credit management and collections in collaboration with the finance department.
• Represent the company at trade exhibitions, customer meetings, and industry events.

• Proven experience managing distributors and modern trade accounts.
• Strong understanding of route-to-market strategies, channel management, and sales forecasting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license with willingness to travel extensively.

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Commerce, or a related field.
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the FMCG or beverage manufacturing industry.
