Job Overview:

To diagnose, repair, adjust, and reassemble products or components that have failed quality inspections, ensuring they meet specified standards and are returned to the production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect defective assemblies or products to identify root causes of failure.
• Perform rework, repair, or adjustment operations using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Replace faulty components and reassemble products to meet quality specifications.
• Document rework activities, including defects found and corrections made.
• Collaborate with assemblers and quality inspectors to prevent recurring issues.
• Follow technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
• Maintain rework station tools and equipment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• VETA Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Mechanics, or a related trade.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in rework, repair, or mechanical adjustment, preferably in an assembly plant.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
