Job Summary:

The Receptionist/Cashier serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing excellent customer service while handling front desk operations, cash transactions, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Operations:

  • Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Schedule appointments and manage conference room bookings.

Cash Handling & Billing:

  • Process cash, credit card, and electronic payments accurately.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers.
  • Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.

Administrative Support:

  • Sort and distribute mail and packages.
  • Maintain visitor logs and update contact databases.
  • Assist with basic office tasks (filing, photocopying, data entry).

Customer Service:

  • Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management.
  • Provide information about company services, products, or promotions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Experience: 1+ year in reception, cashiering, or customer service roles.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic office equipment.
    • Experience with POS systems or cash registers.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
