JOB VACANCY – Receptionist

Ramada Resort by Wyndham – Dar es Salaam

Ramada Beach Resort is seeking a professional, well-presented, and customer-focused Receptionist to join our Front Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring smooth front desk operations in line with Ramada brand standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in/check out guests efficiently and professionally
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and guest inquiries
  • Manage phone calls and respond to emails promptly
  • Process payments and maintain accurate billing records
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments
  • Handle guest complaints and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Update and maintain guest records in the PMS system
  • Upsell room categories and promote hotel services
  • Prepare daily arrival and departure reports
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and brand standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a hotel front office (4-star experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Opera or other PMS systems is an added advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
