Job Overview:
As the first and last point of contact for our guests, the Receptionist plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented individual to manage the check-in/check-out process, handle reservations, and provide information about the lodge and surrounding attractions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Welcome: Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Check-in/Check-out: Efficiently process guest check-ins and check-outs, handling payments and billing accurately.
- Reservations Management: Manage booking inquiries over the phone, via email, and in person.
- Guest Inquiries: Provide information about lodge facilities, local attractions (Lake Babati, etc.), and safari activities.
- Communication: Act as a central communication hub, relaying messages to guests and staff promptly.
- Administration: Maintain accurate guest records, handle mail and messages, and assist with basic administrative tasks.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in using reservation systems (e.g., PMS) and MS Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A positive attitude and a passion for helping people.
- Fluency in English and Swahili is required.
- Must be eligible to work in Tanzania.
