RECEPTIONIST II

Baraza la Taifa la Elimu ya Ufundi na Mafunzo ya Ufundi Stadi (NACTVET)

Responsibilities or duties

  • To receive and interview visitors and direct to the appropriate officials as may be necessary;
  • To issue visitors parses;
  • To keep and send urgent messages;
  • To keep and maintain the reception office;
  • To control usage of Switchboard;
  • To attend all incoming and outgoing telephone calls and direct then to the appropriate destinations
  • To keep records of all incoming and outgoing telephone calls;
  • To supervise maintenance and cleanliness of Switchboards;
  • To receive all incoming mails and submit them to the office supervisor;
  • To maintain visitors Register Book; and
  • To supervise proper organization of the front office.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills)

  • Holder of form IV or VI certificate plus Certificate in Front Office, reception or Customer Care or equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institutions
