RADIOGRAPHER

Job Summary

The Radiographer will perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately while ensuring patient comfort, radiation safety, proper equipment use, and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic examinations according to approved procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly.
• Operate radiographic and imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure appropriate patient positioning and image quality.
• Apply radiation-protection principles for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
• Review images for technical quality and repeat examinations where clinically necessary.
• Maintain and monitor imaging equipment and report faults promptly.
• Follow infection-prevention and control procedures.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards.
• Participate in quality-assurance and continuous-improvement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging from a recognised institution.
• Valid professional registration and practising licence.
• Relevant clinical experience is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and imaging procedures.
• Good technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
