JOB DETAILS:

EMPLOYMENT QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a Diploma in Technology from a Government-recognized College and be registered with relevant Councils where applicable.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Treating patients referred to the unit using correct radiation as prescribed by the Radiologist
• Maintaining radiotherapy machines and equipment in the work area
• Inspecting and managing the quality of radiation produced by radiotherapy machines
• Supervising staff under them
• Providing advice on radiotherapy and radiation-related matters in the work area
• Preparing treatment and investigation equipment and supervising sterilization of equipment
• Providing initial training to staff assigned to the work area
• Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor related to their education, experience, and skills

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS

1. All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged not less than 18 years and not exceeding 45 years.
2. All applicants must attach a birth certificate certified by an Advocate/Lawyer.
3. Applicants already employed in entry-level positions in the Public Service should not apply and must adhere to directives in Circular No. CCA.45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.
4. Applicants must attach detailed CVs with reliable addresses and phone numbers, along with names of three reliable referees.
5. All applications must include professional certificates, CV, and certified copies of certificates verified by an Advocate/Lawyer including Form Four certificates, Form Six certificates (where applicable), and training certificates based on job qualifications.
6. Testimonials, Provisional Results, Statement of Results, Form IV and Form VI Results Slips will not be accepted.
7. Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
8. Applicants who retired from Public Service are not allowed to apply unless they have permission from the Chief Secretary.
9. Applicants with name discrepancies in Professional Certificates, Birth Certificates, and NIDA must attach a Deed Poll.
10. Applicants with spelling discrepancies between National ID and Professional Certificates, Form Six, Form Four, and Birth Certificates must attach an Affidavit.
11. Applicants whose jobs require licenses must attach copies of those licenses.
12. Applicants who submit false information and qualifications will face legal action.
