Background

Hester Biosciences Africa Ltd, located in Kibaha TAMCO Industrial Estate, is engaged in the manufacturing of animal vaccines.

We are re-advertising and inviting applications from qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Quality Control Officer.

Responsibilities

• Testing of raw and packaging materials.
• Estimation of moisture and conducting vacuum tests on finished products.
• Water testing.
• Quantification of antigen in in-process and finished products (TCID, EID, CCU).
• Conducting serological tests such as ELISA, SNT, and others.
• Coordinating with the Production Department for in-process testing.
• Maintaining equipment utilization logbooks.
• Assisting in the optimization and validation of analytical and bioanalytical Quality Control tests for in-house vaccines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership skills.
