Service Dimensions
The Service Holder is Responsible for
• ensuring that all activities he is responsible for, or involved in, are performed with the highest level of consideration to H3SE risk management and as per Project Quality Policy and management system, protection of human’s health, respect of various communities and care of environment;
• promoting safety awareness at all level through exemplary and pro-active attitude within Project team and Contractor/subcontractors/vendors’ team;
• ensuring equipment follow-up, inventory and customs clearances dossiers closure;
• implementing of the Ugandan and Tanzanian Local /National Content Requirements;
• managing the CFT and implementation of the contracts for the personnel transportation;
• initiating, developing and implementing a safety culture in a complex environment which doesn’t yet have an Oil & Gas experience
• Ensure a safe, reliable and cost effective support and supply chain services for the Project Entities, Direct subordinates: 4 Staff managed: 4, Budget: 100 MUSD, Management of 400 trucks per day (total 35 MKMS), Sea and road transportation of 350 000 Tons,

Activities
• Provide H3SE leadership for all logistics related activities
• Define the optimum logistics execution plan following studies performed: road/railways, choice of sea ports, warehousing strategy, yards and gasoil management (reduction of project Carbon Foot Print)
• To be the main contact point for the technical logistics matters with the Tanzanian authorities
• Identify and recommend best personnel crew-change planning (air and road) from identified mobilization points (airport or cities) to construction sites. Define the SOW of future logistics contracts (MEDEVAC, Air and Land transportation for personnel) if required
• Customs clearances dossier follow up for all imported equipment
• Equipment inventory follow up
• Monitor KPIs and propose optimization of the logistics operational activities as per project objectives and COMPANY initiatives (3C, LEAN, etc)
• Participate, together with H3SE methods, in the definition and implementation of the road transport safety procedures
• (equipment and personnel). This includes detailed traffic control, vehicle monitoring system and driving policy, in line with COMPANY referential

Accountabilities
• Operational and H3SE performances of the Main Logistics Contractors (KPI)
• Organization equipment transportation, management of operational interfaces with the EPCm and delivery of the equipment/material (pipelines, LLIs…)
• Equipment and equipment documentation, inventory follow-up (customs clearances status-)
• Company personnel in country transportation
• Implementation of the Local Content requirement (Local Contractor Companies and Local Manpower) within Logistics activities as it will be one of the main focus from Tanzanian & Ugandan Authorities

Qualifications/Experience
Degree: MSc (or equivalent formal qualification) Minimum of 10 years’ experience (at least 5 years in O&G Industry with similar large scale projects & complex environment), Ability to: work in a multi-cultural business environment, lead and manage a team.
