JOB DETAILS:

National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR)

Responsibilities or duties

• Support project procurement activities under the guidance of the Centre Procurement Officer.
• Contribute to efficient procurement processes within the Centre.
• Support strategies that ensure compliance with national and institutional procurement regulations.

Qualifications or requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics Management, Business Management (Procurement and Supply), or a related field from a recognized university.
• Registered with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).

Experience needed

• At least two years of procurement experience in projects within a public research or academic health institution.
• Experience using the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) to procure laboratory equipment, consumables, and other supplies.
