Responsibilities or duties
- Support project procurement activities under the guidance of the Centre Procurement Officer.
- Contribute to efficient procurement processes within the Centre.
- Support strategies that ensure compliance with national and institutional procurement regulations.
Qualifications or requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, Logistics Management, Business Management (Procurement and Supply), or a related field from a recognized university.
- Registered with the Procurement and Supplies Professionals and Technicians Board (PSPTB).
Experience needed
- At least two years of procurement experience in projects within a public research or academic health institution.
- Experience using the National e-Procurement System of Tanzania (NeST) to procure laboratory equipment, consumables, and other supplies.

- Demonstrated commitment to excellence, innovation, teamwork, and efficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Highly motivated and capable of meeting deadlines.
