Job Summary:
The Professional Cook prepares high-quality meals for the canteen, events, or executive dining. This role involves menu planning, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes.
- Plan menus and estimate food quantities.
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely and sanitary manner.
- Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP).
- Assist in food preparation for company events.
Qualifications:
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification.
- 2+ years of experience in a restaurant or institutional kitchen.
- Knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
