Job Summary:
Sumwood Furniture Manufacturing seeks an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the production process, ensuring efficient and high-quality output of furniture products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage production staff to ensure efficient processes and high-quality results.
• Implement and maintain production schedules, workflows, and quality control measures.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
• Manage inventory levels and material supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Woodworking, Civil Engineering, Furniture Design, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in production supervision within the furniture manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry and woodworking machinery/tools.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of safety and quality control systems
