JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, cost efficiency, and safety regulations are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule production runs based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
- Monitor production metrics (OEE, throughput, scrap rates, downtime) and implement improvements.
- Lead, train, and appraise shift supervisors and production line staff.
- Enforce quality control procedures and address non-conformances.
- Manage material usage, reduce waste, and control operating costs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and logistics to reduce downtime.
- Report production KPIs to senior management weekly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Management.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years in production supervision/management (manufacturing, packaging, or assembly industry).
- Proven track record of improving efficiency and reducing costs.
Competencies:
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution.
- Data-driven decision making (Excel, ERP systems like SAP/Microsoft Dynamics).
- Problem-solving (5 Whys, root cause analysis, PDCA).

Experience in Months: 60
Level of Education: bachelor degree
