Procurement Supervisor

The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the hotel's purchasing activities to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with policies . Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising Daily Purchasing: Overseeing the purchasing process to ensure all requests are processed accurately and on time . This includes verifying purchase orders, quotations, and invoices before approval .
  • Supplier Management: Sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best quality, price, and service terms . This also involves maintaining strong supplier relationships and monitoring their performance .
  • Inventory Control: Working closely with stores and receiving teams to maintain proper inventory levels and control stock .
  • Budget and Cost Management: Tracking and controlling departmental budgets to ensure cost efficiency . This includes preparing purchasing reports and cost analyses for management .
  • Team Leadership: Supervising, guiding, and training purchasing officers and clerks in their daily tasks and procurement policies .
  • Coordination: Coordinating with various departments (e.g., F&B, Engineering, Housekeeping) to fulfill operational needs .

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Working experience in the hotel (2+ years on the same roles)
  • Ability to work 5 star and busy hotel
  • Purchase order processing experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP or ERP system knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Supplier sourcing and management skills
  • Local residence only
  • Ladies are highly considered
